What happens when jewellery steps out of the showcase and into the gallery? The Unique Gallery answers with “The Art of Jewellery” at Firetti Contemporary, an immersive exhibition featuring three visionary jewellery houses alongside a commissioned sculpture by contemporary artist Yousra Wahba.
THE DESIGNERS
The Contrast Club
The Contrast Club is a family-run atelier based in Southern Finland, celebrated for merging engineering precision with artisanal jewellery craftsmanship. The brand is renowned for its mechanically interactive designs, incorporating micro-mechanical elements that transform jewellery into kinetic objects. With a strong commitment to sustainability, The Contrast Club works with recycled metals and local Finnish workshops, creating meticulously engineered, one-of-a-kind pieces that challenge traditional notions of fine jewellery.
Hugo Cahill
Hugo Cahill is an avant-garde high jewellery house positioned at the crossroads of sculpture, design, and fine jewellery. Known for its concept-driven approach, the brand explores form, balance, and material through sculptural silhouettes, reverse-set gemstones, and unconventional compositions. Produced in collaboration with master craftsmen across Europe, Hugo Cahill’s creations are slow-made objects of artistic intent, exhibited internationally and collected for their intellectual and aesthetic depth.
Nafees
Founded in Jaipur, Nafees draws upon India’s rich gemstone heritage while embracing a bold contemporary vision. The brand is recognised for its fearless use of colour, exceptional gemstones, and refined craftsmanship. Inspired by Jaipur’s vibrant cultural landscape, Nafees creates jewellery that celebrates the emotional power of colour and light, offering designs that are expressive, sophisticated, and unmistakably modern.
THE ART
At the exhibition’s heart sits Yousra Wahba‘s The Brilliant Green, a sculptural exploration of light within coloured gemstones. Her work on organic forms, transformation, and fleeting energy creates a visual dialogue between nature and the crafted pieces surrounding it.

WHY IT MATTERS
Designers from different countries come together, united by a shared love for beauty, uniqueness, and culture. Each piece is a one-of-one work of art, where vibrant gemstones and the power of colour create a universal dialogue between creativity, craftsmanship, and contemporary culture.
This exhibition brings jewellery into dialogue with contemporary art, positioning craftsmanship, materiality, and concept on equal ground. We invite audiences to experience gemstones not only as objects of adornment, but as sources of artistic inspiration.
